Turkey Pesto Panini

Bright, fresh, and picnic-ready! Our Turkey & Pesto Sandwich with Nuovo’s Classic Genovese Pesto is your go-to bite for summer days. Layered with deli turkey, heirloom tomato, red oak lettuce, and provolone on toasted multigrain bread, each bite bursts with vibrant flavor and creamy pesto goodness. It’s an easy, elegant sandwich perfect for park hangs, backyard lounging, or a sunny al fresco lunch.

Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp Nuovo Classic Genovese Pesto
  • 4 Slices multigrain bread
  • 4 Thick slices deli roast turkey
  • 4 Thin slices mild provolone
  • 4 Slices heirloom tomato
  • 4 Leaves red oak (red leaf) lettuce

Directions

  1. Toast the bread slices
  2. Wash and slice a small heirloom tomato
  3. Spread 2 Tbsps. of basil pesto on one side of each slice
  4. Place turkey, provolone, lettuce and tomato atop two slices of bread, and cover with the remaining slices
  5. Cut each sandwich in half and enjoy!
