Ingredients
- 1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Organic Spinach and Cheese Tortellini
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 Garlic clove, chopped fine
- ½ Cup Heavy cream
- 5 oz Pack organic baby spinach (pre-washed)
- Zest of ½ lemon
- Salt and cracked black pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
Directions
- Place butter and garlic in a small saucepan and cook over medium-low heat until shallots are golden.
- Add cream, bring to a simmer and add spinach; cook for a few more minutes until spinach is wilted and sauce creamy.
- Add lemon zest, stir gently and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook tortellini separately in salted boiling water according to package directions.
- Drain and add to saucepan.
- Stir thoroughly and transfer to a serving platter; sprinkle with Parmigiano cheese. Enjoy!
