Italian Sausage and Mozzarella Ravioli with Peppers and Onions

An Italian twist on a classic! Nuovo Pasta’s Italian Sausage and Mozzarella Ravioli are cooked to perfection with aromatic onions and tangy peppers. Buon Appetito!


9 oz Package Nuovo Pasta Italian Sausage and Mozzarella Ravioli
2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 Medium red onion, thinly sliced
I Each Red, green, and yellow peppers, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp Fresh Italian parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp Pecorino Romano, shredded


  1. Wash and clean the peppers, removing the stems, pith, and seeds. Cut into ½” slices.
  2. Peel onion and thinly slice.
  3. Place oil and in a sauté pan and cook onion over medium-low heat until golden. Add peppers
  4. and cook a few more minutes, mixing well, until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook ravioli separately in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and place
  6. on a serving platter. Spoon sauce on top and sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Enjoy!
