CRACKED BLACK PEPPER FETTUCCINE with PORTOBELLA and TRUFFLE PESTO

Cracked Black Pepper Fettuccine from Nuovo Pasta is truly a must-have for any event! Need a fast starter course? Place cream in a sauté pan over medium-low heat, then add your favorite cheese and stir until properly melted. Cook the Fettuccine separately then wow your guests once ready to serve with the delicious flavors of Nuovo Roasted Portabella & Truffle Pesto!

Ingredients

1 pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Cracked Pepper Fettuccine
1 cup Heavy cream
½ cup Asiago cheese, shredded
Salt to taste
4 tbsp Nuovo Pasta Roasted Portobella & Truffle Pesto
2 tbsp Italian parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Place cream in a sauté pan over medium-low heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for two minutes. Season with salt to taste.
  2. Add Asiago cheese and stir over very low
    heat until melted. Keep sauce warm while cooking pasta.
  3. Cook fettuccine separately in salted boiling water according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of
    pasta water, then drain fettuccine and add to the saucepan.
  4. Stir gently, adding reserved pasta water until creamy and moist. Transfer to serving platter. Sprinkle parsley and truffle pesto on top.
  5. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
