Sliders with Fontina and Mushroom Spread

These indulgent sliders are a gourmet twist on a classic favorite. Featuring juicy Angus beef patties (or veggie burgers for a plant-based option), each mini burger is topped with melty Swiss-style cheese and elevated with a generous layer of Nuovo’s Roasted Portabella & Truffle Dip & Spread.

Ingredients

  • 6 Mini burger buns
  • 6 Small (2 oz.) Angus beef burgers (or use veggie burgers for a vegetarian version)
  • 6 Thin slices of Swiss cheese (Gruyère or Emmenthal work great)
  • 1 Jar Nuovo’s Roasted Portabella & Truffle Dip & Spread

Directions

  1. Cook burgers to your preferred doneness.
  2. In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheese and let it melt.
  3. Toast the mini burger buns lightly, if desired.
  4. Spread Nuovo’s Roasted Portabella & Truffle Dip generously on both sides of each bun.
  5. Assemble the sliders and serve warm.
