Shrimp & Lobster Ravioli with Sherry Cream Sauce

Servings: 2 | Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins

Seafood ravioli is always perfect for a festive occasion! Enjoy this delicate specialty with a glass of Prosecco.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Shrimp & Lobster RavioliĀ 
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 Small shallots, chopped fine
  • 1/4 Cup Dry Sherry
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Italian tomato paste
  • Pinch Red chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh chives, sliced thin
  • To complete this delicious meal, add a few cooked shrimp on top.

Directions

  1. Place butter and chopped shallots in a small saucepan and cook over medium-low heat until shallots are golden.
  2. Add sherry and cook to evaporate alcohol.
  3. Add cream, tomato paste, and chili flakes.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook for five more minutes.
  5. Season with salt.
  6. Cook ravioli separately in salted boiling water according to package directions.
  7. Drain and place on a serving platter.
  8. Spoon sauce on top and sprinkle with chives.
