Hot Red Pepper Linguine with Calabrese Meat Sauce

Bring the spice to your holiday table with a Hot Red Pepper Shrimp made with tender Nuovo Pasta Linguine, juicy shrimp, sweet tomato sauce, and a kick of calabrian chili peppers. Ingredients

1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Hot Red Pepper Linguine
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp (or to taste) Crushed Calabrian chili peppers
2 cloves garlic, chopped
4oz large shrimp, peeled and de-veined
One 14-ounce Can Crushed plum tomatoes
Salt to taste
1 pinch dry oregano
2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Place oil, garlic, and chili peppers in a large sauté pan and cook over medium heat for a minute.
  2. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute, turning shrimp once. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.  Season with salt to taste. Remove from heat and add oregano and parsley. 
  3. Cook pasta separately in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and add it to the sauté pan.
  4. Stir well and transfer to serving platter, arranging the shrimp on top. Enjoy!
