Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Caprese Ravioli

Servings: 2 | Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 10 mins

This beautiful dish encloses the colors of Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น: Basil, Mozzarella and Cherry Tomatoes.


1 Pack (9 oz.) Nuovo Pasta Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Caprese Ravioliย 
2 Tbsp Olive oil
2 Cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 Pint ripe cherry tomatoes, halved
Salt and pepper to taste
12 ea. Fresh basil leaves, stacked and sliced thin
2 Tbsp Pecorino Romano, grated
Reserve a few basil sprigs to garnish each serving plate.


  1. Place oil and garlic in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for a few minutes or until soft and golden.
  2. Add sliced tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, just enough to evaporate excess moisture.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat and add basil.
  5. Cook pasta separately in salted boiling water according to package directions.
  6. Drain pasta and place on a serving platter.
  7. Spoon sauce on top and sprinkle with cheese.ย
