Caprese Ravioli & Marinara Sauce

Servings: 4 | Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 20 mins

Major time saver and down right tasty, your family will be raving about this dish!


  • 1 package of Nuovo Pasta Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Caprese Ravioli
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 28 oz. can of your favorite crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz. can of fire roasted tomatoes, diced
  • salt & pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of dry oregano
  • 1/2 cup of fresh basil, chiffoned


  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and ravioli. Cook until al dente {about 7-9 minutes)
  2. Heat a medium size saute pan to medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and onions. Saute for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent and soft.
  3. Add in garlic and tomato paste, saute for 30 seconds and stir.
  4. Add in crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper. Bring to a simmer, about 4 minutes.
  5. Add in fresh basil, stir, cook for 1 minute.
  6. Drain ravioli and serve with fresh marinara sauce on top.
